Responsibilities that match your talent! My client, located in the RoyalMount area, is currently looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner
You will have the opportunity to join a human resources team of nearly 30 people and take on a strategic role as a business partner for the largest pharmaceutical employer in Quebec.
Reporting to the Director, HR Business Partnerships, with your expertise and understanding of business realities, you will be responsible for advising and supporting managers on all HR aspects such as labor relations, talent attraction and retention, organizational structure, talent management and engagement, succession planning, and employee development.
Responsibilities:
- Through strategic advice and coaching, support managers on all topics impacting client groups;
- Guide and direct managers and leaders at all levels (supervisor to vice president) in labor relations, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, engagement and compensation, talent management, change management, and employee relations;
- Ensure that various HR initiatives and our policies are implemented effectively. and programs support organizational needs;
- Contribute to the implementation and review of organizational structures;
- Act as a change agent to maintain an inclusive and harmonious culture, employee empowerment, improvement, and continuous learning;
- Work closely with operations managers and collaborative committees (representing hourly production employees) to maintain good working relationships and foster an environment of cooperation and transparency;
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards team to hire and retain top talent, and participate in talent attraction initiatives when required;
- Participate in various projects supporting their client group.
Skills, knowledge, and abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Labor Relations
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a human resources generalist in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
- Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing, in French and English, taking into account interactions with partners and clients outside the province
- Have managed major labor relations files such as investigations, team and work climate recovery, conflict management, drafting disciplinary measures, and representation before the courts
- Ability to manage situations professionally with tact and diplomacy
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients at all decision-making levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with members of the HR team
