The typical salary range for this position is $54 500.00 - $81 700.00 annually. The base salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.

SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide recruitment and selection support to Metro and Food Basics stores in high-volume positions.
• Assist with job postings, phone screens, interview scheduling, references, etc.
• Research and provide suggestions to increase candidate pools.
• Support the talent management team with various administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Other Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be currently enrolled in or graduated within 1 year of a post-secondary program. Programs of study in HR, Business or Commerce are an asset.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, One Note)
• A demonstrated self starter with the aptitude to drive initiatives
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Retail experience is an asset
• Experience using social recruitment platforms an asset (i.e. LinkedIn)
