Founded in 1968, Pelican International is a Quebec outdoor sports company based in Laval. The company has witnessed tremendous growth over the past few years. A global leader in its field, Pelican specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of nautical products (kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), canoes, pedal boats, fishing boats and nautical accessories) as well as recreational products (winter toys and utility sleds) made of plastic. The company has two manufacturing facilities in Quebec, including the Laval plant where our head office is also located. The offices and manufacturing space total close to 700,000 square feet, housing more than 600 employees. Our products are marketed under the Pelican and Elie brands across Canada, the United States, and in more than 50 countries worldwide.
