The challenges that await you

Reporting to the division head – HR business partners, culture and talent strategist, and under the functional coordination of a senior business partner, you will provide advisory support for human resources aspects to the managers of the services and offices under your responsibility, in order to contribute to the achievement of their business objectives.

You will advise and assist managers in anticipating and implementing solutions to HR challenges. You will contribute to the understanding and adoption of HR programs and policies, supporting their deployment and execution. You will work closely with centers of expertise and coordinate various HR interventions to propose tailored and integrated HR solutions.

You will act as the primary HR contact for the services and offices for which you are responsible. You will support and coach managers in the following areas:

  • Performance management of their teams;
  • Daily employee management (return to work, special cases, accommodation);
  • Organizational changes;
  • Work organization (hybrid mode, multisite);
  • Implementing practices that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion;
  • Establishing and maintaining a healthy work environment;
  • Developing succession plans.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Continuously conducting and adapting HR diagnostics for the services and offices to identify needs, issues, and opportunities in human resources;
  • Developing integrated action plans in collaboration with HR centers of expertise based on projects, priorities, and high-impact issues on employee and citizen experience and organizational performance;
  • Acting as a mobilizing leader in coordinating various HR interventions and action plans;
  • Using HR and management indicators to conduct analyses and support your recommendations and action plans; ensuring integration coaching for new managers;
  • Providing the necessary support for the development of managers' autonomy in human resource management;
  • Conducting monitoring in your area of expertise and acting as a reference for management advice.
The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in industrial relations, human resources, or another relevant field;
  • Have eight (8) years of relevant experience as a generalist in human resources as well as in change management and HR project management;
  • Experience in a large company or in a public or para-public unionized company is an asset;
  • Being a member of the Order of Human Resources Professionals of Quebec is an asset;
  • Excellent spoken and written French;
  • Possess excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
