WORK LOCATION: Human Resources Administration, 1200 BOUL CHOMEDEY Laval H7V 3Z3
Reporting to the Head of Compensation, you assist the division in managing and monitoring files related to the application of various compensation programs and processes and provide the necessary analyses for the advancement of different files. In this capacity, you support and assist advisors in resolving grievances and job evaluation requests, in participating in and analyzing salary surveys, in the process of analyzing pay equity, as well as in the development and updating of tools, processes, and compensation policies. You work closely with HR teams and managers to ensure the equity, competitiveness, and compliance of the organization’s compensation programs.
More specifically:
- You provide technical support to HR stakeholders regarding the scope and application of compensation policies, rules, and practices;
- You assist advisors in job evaluations and in analyzing files related to the resolution of job evaluation grievances. Participate, as needed, in joint evaluation committees;
- You compile and analyze data to feed salary surveys and participate in the competitiveness analysis of compensation by conducting market surveys for different job categories;
- You maintain up-to-date databases and systems related to compensation and produce reports, indicators, and dashboards related to support decision-making;
- You provide technical support in evaluating union requests and employer offers during collective agreement renewal negotiations or dispute arbitrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, HR Management, or equivalent;
- 3 years of relevant experience in compensation or human resources including experience with unionized organizations;
- Being a member of the CRHA order is an asset;
- Possess excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
