We are looking for a human relations officer passionate about supporting and guiding people. You will work in a caring and respectful environment where listening, collaboration, and respect for cultural realities are central to every interaction.

Your main responsibilities:
- Assessing reported situations and the child's living conditions
- Determining the urgency of the situation and implementing appropriate measures Implementation of protective measures during assessment if necessary
- Decision on the compromise and direction of the child's situation
- Coordination of multi-sectoral agreements and drafting of provisional agreements and voluntary measures
- Implementation of short-term interventions and drafting of reports and progress notes
- Presentation of cases to the Youth Court
- Psychosocial emergency care
- Collaboration and interventions upon request for other Youth Protection services (YCJA, Adoptions, RTS, Application of measures).
Desired Profile:
- Undergraduate degree in humanities
- Member of their professional order
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the Youth Protection Act and the concept of protection
- Experience working with children
- Experience in the health and social services network Quebec
- Bilingualism required (Inuktitut an asset)
