Who are we?

The Talent Acquisition team 🚀 recruits any operational, professional or management position in 18 different job families such as member-client service, marketing, actuarial, information technology, risk management, etc. Our recruitment methods are varied (massive, unitary) and adapted to our clients, whether it is in a labour shortage or scarcity, proactive recruitment (headhunting) is part of our DNA in order to stay connected on the new talents available on the market.

A typical day in your life as a Talent Acquisition advisor at Desjardins

Whether you're an early riser or prefer to stretch your coffee☕ between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m., you start your day, either at home or at the office;

  • Coffee in hand, you manage your priority files to be managed and evaluate the recruitment and attraction strategies that will need to be deployed to achieve maximum results.

  • Market analysis, candidate tagging and proactive approaches 🔎 will be part of your daily routine.

  • On your agenda, a team meeting, a privileged moment to share best practices with your colleagues 👊.

  • A client contacts you to advise you that they will have several positions to fill on their team or simply wants to add an unplanned cohort. Situation already experienced? 👀 Based on the request, you prepare an elaborate plan to support him, you exercise your consulting role to ensure the achievement of his business objectives.

  • Are you running out of ideas to chase "superstars" 🎖️? No problem, you discuss it with your team leader (manager) and senior advisor to get tips and tricks.

  • Your fire team is waiting for you, always ready to brew ideas with you! 💡

  • Small emergency, you are asked to lend a hand to a colleague, a reshuffle of the agenda is needed!

👉 Challenging projects await you

  • You will be responsible and in charge of your client's visibility and talent attraction plan; You will have to collaborate with various colleagues, especially the human resources business partners;
  • You will be responsible for reviewing and proposing new ways of doing things in terms of recruitment strategies;
  • You will collaborate on recruitment projects, such as reviewing our tools, organizing recruitment events, working tables to share our best TA strategies, etc.


  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline related to human resources

  • Experience in talent acquisition

Please note that other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered

  • For positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
