NV-10Desjardins Group Business Services Executive Division is looking for a Senior Advisor, Training and Skills Development. As such, you will help analyze the needs and develop, design and logistically plan the training. You will lead and influence various stakeholders (your team and internal partners) in terms of the issues and projects involving the development of training that relates to the business sector’s strategic initiatives to build the skills needed for front-line positions. In this regard, you will assist in developing and recommending the direction to take and the skills to develop. The nature of the files requires a strong business sense, creativity, expertise in adult learning strategies and an understanding of the emerging technologies used in skills development. You will position the methods used to train and develop skills in projects with a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity and in which an analysis and a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of business and the organization is required. Coordination will be critical, and you will be called upon to interact with many expert stakeholders in a variety of fields.Therefore, highly developed interpersonal skills are key.You will serve not only as a specialized advisor and content expert in your field, but also as a contact and coach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Training in adult education (an asset)
  • Six years of relevant experience
