With pan-Canadian activities and a presence in the U.S., the Group is an important player in numerous market segments.This role sits within Laurentienne Bank, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.The Head of Organizational Development and Learning will be responsible for building the organizational development and learning practices for Laurentian Bank. - You are responsible for overseeing learning and development programs, including design, delivery and evaluation process related to new hire orientation, core learning requirements, leadership effectiveness, change management and talent management and succession planning. You lead the Workplace of the future initiative as we shift to a hybrid workplace.You play a key role in ensuring the strategic talent goals of the Bank are met. In addition, the Head of OD and Learning works closely with HR management to further the initiatives in the Bank's Strategic and Talent Plans.

Responsibilities

º Develops a new hire orientation program in support of a positive on-boarding experience in alignment with the employer brandº Builds strong relationships with stakeholders to understand organizational training needs, provides sound advice and develops practical and sustainable learning and development solutionsº Provides coaching for leaders, to drive talent and succession objectives (in collaboration with the Human Resources Business Partners)º Designs, develops and implements an evaluation framework, including feedback session and focus group to ensure programs are current and effectiveº Designs and implements cultural training and review Talent Management processesº Provides guidance and expertise regarding change management and organizational effectivenessº Plans and implements customized employee, team and leadership development training programs in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partners, Center of Excellence and business leadersº Lead the Workplace of the future initiative by having end-users participate in the creation of the post Covid 19 workplace and design new ways of working

Qualifications

º Demonstrated experience creating and successfully implementing new hire orientation, e-learning and leadership training programs º Direct experience and proven track record in the delivery of programs, processes and toolsº Proven ability to create and implement sustainable programs a while applying practical methodologyº Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and networking abilitiesº Demonstrated proficiency in establishing and managing internal and external relationshipsº Strong time management skills and initiative, and the ability to collaborate on project-based workº Proven ability to influence and work in a collaborative manner within a matrix organizationº Proficient with Talent Management systems, assessments, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)º Self-starter who thrives in a fun, dynamic and action-oriented environmentEducation and Experience Requirements:º University degree in an appropriate field and at least 8-10 years' experience, including 5 in a management roleº Experience in preparing and drafting reports for managementº Bilingual (English/French) an assetº Excellent management skills and organizational and presentation skillsº Excellent written and verbal communication skillsº Minimum 5 years' experience in an Organizational Development related capacity
