The Supervisor, Volunteer Resource Staff will be responsible for planning and organizing the mobilization and deployment of volunteer resources at his / her assignment site as well as in the off-site areas of his / her region covered by the Recovery Strategy. under the direction of the Workforce Coordinator, at BGPR. He supervises the staff under his responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1) Supervision: - Supervise, support and supervise the staff under his charge - Constantly evaluate the human and material resources necessary for the activities of the department - Assist staff under his responsibility to handle complex cases - Ensure respect standards and procedures established at CRC in Quebec - Contribute to the creation of safe and secure work spaces and environments, compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and employment standards, creation Respectful workplaces that promote well-being and prevent all forms of harassment and violence - Compile and maintain CRC compliant reports using the relevant systems and tools - Evaluate the delivery programs and services, recommend improvements and support their implementation, and prepare reports as required - Organize and facilitate briefing and debriefing sessions as well as internal meetings, as required - Provide ongoing feedback on the performance of staff under their charge. 2) Volunteer Resources - Plan staffing requirements in collaboration with site coordinators and other applicants - Coach and animate volunteer resources dedicated to the operation - Recruit and select candidates from identified pools (volunteers, partners, - Liaise with the training team for the planning and organization of trainings - Perform the administrative tasks related to recruitment, organization of training, mobilization, in accordance with the rules and procedures Establish - Inform site coordinators of procedures for meeting their volunteer resource requirements - Prepare volunteer staff shift schedules in collaboration with various site coordinators and program director - Send to coordinator HR and BR staff, schedule and assignment details volunteer staff; - Inform the HR and BR staff coordinator of significant changes in the volunteer needs and resources of the operation - Update the databases and lists - Make access requests for the BGPR volunteers - Maintain daily statistics on volunteer resources - Work with Philanthropy, for volunteer resource planning partners in action - Inform the HR and RB HR Coordinator if there are volunteers who are not involved do not comply with the provisions of the Volunteer Resources Policy - Perform any other related duties requested by the immediate supervisor.

Education: - Have a college diploma in an appropriate discipline. - Any other set of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered. Experience:

- Minimum of four years of relevant job experience experience including two years of team supervision. - Volunteer experience in emergency management, especially as a manager / supervisor is an asset.
