Director of Human Resources

Distinctive & amp; Corbeil Appliances is looking for a Human Resources Manager to help the company continue its growth. This person will participate in the company’s human capital management initiatives and strategies, and promote the effectiveness of HR practices, personnel management and recruitment, talent management and succession planning strategies. / p>

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of a personnel or human resources department
  • Develop and implement labor relations policies and procedures and negotiate agreements
  • Research and develop opportunities to promote corporate culture and employee engagement
  • Support and coach managers in human resources management, coordinate HR processes and provide support to managers for implementation (eg performance evaluation)
  • Train and develop a collaborative team
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment, coordinate and participate in health and safety discussions, prevention visits and audits
  • Ensure contact with the various internal and external stakeholders
  • See the classification and ensure the evaluation of posts
  • Organize and lead information meetings on employment policies, compensation and benefits and participate actively in various joint committees

Requirements and Skills:

  • University degree in a field related to human resources
  • At least 10 years of HR experience, including 5 or more in a management position
  • Member of the Ordre des CRHA
  • Ability to work independently & amp; in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and great communication skills
  • Leadership and Problem Solving
  • Ability to contribute to senior management committees
  • Be versatile, organized and possess a great sense of initiative
