According to the director of the service center, payroll and benefits, you are responsible for planning and controlling the activities of the annuity plan's office. As part of your delegated mandates, the Bureau of the Pension Plan administers the six defined benefit pension plans of the employees of the City of Laval, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. As such, you provide the expertise and support required for retirement plan administration.
You participate in the establishment of the orientations, objectives and programs of the office next to your field of Expertise and the development of the annual objectives of your field of intervention, according to the main orientations of the Bureau of the Pension Plan. You control the internal and external human and financial resources related to the mandate of the Bureau of the Pension Plan.
You are responsible for overseeing and guiding the activities of the retirement committees as well as sub-committees to ensure Respect for laws, regulations, standards and procedures for retirement plan administration.
Also, you are responsible for the prudent management of the investments of the regimes pension funds. To be done, you coordinate and exercise the necessary strategic monitoring, and ensure the follow-up of the investment activities of the specialized firms.
You collaborate with the direction to the establishment and update of the methodology , processes, and tools as well as the development, dissemination and application of best practices in your field of activity. You are responsible for defining the annual objectives of your team and put in place the measures to optimize the performance of the various activities.
As a member the management team, you collaborate to his good operation and contribute to the achievement of its objectives. You will evaluate and recommend the requirements of human, material and financial resources for the smooth running of the activities you are responsible for and manage the budgets available to you. You will submit detailed reports and can be called upon to make presentations with respect to the activities you are responsible for.

The desired profile:
- hold a bachelor's degree in actuarial;

- own 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience at a management position;
