Senior Human Resources Business Partner

CIMA + is looking for a senior human resources business partner to support its growth ambitions. This person will be responsible for supporting managers at CIMA + and supporting employees in all matters related to the human resources function in the Sherbrooke region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a partner and coach to managers on all aspects of human resources management including:
      • Commitment and retention of employees
      • Performance Management and Performance Gaps
      • Compensation Management
      • Communication
      • Training and development
      • Talent Acquisition
      • Process Management and Internal Policies
  • Build a strong business relationship with both managers and employees to maximize trust, engagement and retention
  • Promote HR processes and programs in collaboration with teams of specialists
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and / or HR risks by helping managers deal with them in a responsible and strategic manner, supporting the application and development of their leadership
  • Understand the issues and challenges of his region and work closely with all members of the HR team to put in place appropriate solutions
  • Represent the function and business line in various mandates and projects, and implement the resulting initiatives
  • Act as an agent of change in a context of rapid growth, linked to the values ​​of CIMA + and the organizational culture
  • Act as a resource person for employees on HR issues
  • Stay abreast of current laws and regulations, best practices and trends in human resource management
  • Actively participate in the process of selecting and integrating new employees

Wanted profile

  • Bachelor of Human Resources Management or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources management
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Good knowledge of laws and regulations
  • Recognized business partnership skills
  • Ability to evolve in a changing environment
  • Ability to influence
  • Autonomy and ability to take initiative
  • Member of a professional corporation (an asset)
  • Knowledge of the professional services community (an asset)
